Suitable for qualified acrylic nail techs to contour, shape and build on the foundations of your creations. A chance to apply a full set of acrylics with an experienced trainer to help you develop your techniques and take your shaping skills to the next level and really Nail it!

NAIL SHAPING WORKSHOP OUTLINE
Our Acrylic shaping workshop will build on your foundations and improve your skills with acrylic application and filing.
You will have the opportunity alongside NTC trainers to observe educated demonstrations and create a full set with the guidance and help from your trainer.
The focus on the workshop is to enable you to leave with the knowledge and skills to be able to improve your technique and confidence, allowing you to perfect your shapes and get more out of your nails.
We will be creating a variety of shapes including square, round, almond, stiletto and coffin, and really nail these shapes down!
A big part to the lasting of your nails is the structure, creating a good balance to prevent lifting or breaking. Here you will learn the importance of a correctly placed apex, and an even concave and convex c curve, what they are, and how to create them.
Use this opportunity to invest in your future in acrylics, you will leave more confident, capable and ready to show off your c curves!
DAY 1
Nail Shaping Workshop

Demonstration of creating shapes including square, oval, coffin, almond and stiletto.

Students to apply full set of acrylics on model in applying all techniques to create all shapes.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
Who is the nail workshop for?
Our acrylic shaping workshop is for qualified nail technicians who want to master the technique of acrylic application and shaping. We recommend you have had some practice before attending the workshop and have a certain competence/confidence in working with acrylic.
What will I gain from this nail workshop?
You will have an in depth understanding of why we create the shape of the nail the way we do, why we need an apex and how to create the ideal shape and adapt to lengths. This will enable you to create beautifully shaped acrylics which are durable, strong and longer lasting.
Do I need to bring a model?
Yes, a model is required for you to complete a full set. Different shapes will have to be created on your model.

What shall I bring with me?
Absolutely nothing! Well, almost nothing.
We have everything you need for the time you are with us but do ask that you come with a winning smile, appetite to learn, patience and passion.
We also recommend you wear comfortable clothing, especially for the pedicure, and have naked/bare nails.
Please note we will not be able to remove any extensions or colour from your nails during the course or at the end of it.
So please ensure you come to the course with naked/bare nails. We will go through the removal procedure during the course so please prep yourself by buying acetone (generally found at any pharmacy or online) so that you can remove your extensions or colour at home.
Are kits included in the course?
Absolutely! Kits are included ONLY for the duration of the course (not take home).
Our trainer will talk you through the different brands to consider before making your own kit purchase.
