Attendance to Courses

All students must arrive at the course by the allocated start time. Entry after this time is at the trainer's discretion. Late arrivals may not be permitted to join, as essential course criteria will have been missed. The course structure does not allow for one-to-one recaps.

Students arriving more than 15 minutes late will be turned away.

Students must contact NTC to inform the trainer of late arrivals, illness, or non-attendance.

All students must attend with bare nails. This includes the removal of extensions, polish, strengtheners, or gel polish. Failure to comply will result in the student being unable to give or receive treatments as required. Participation will be restricted, and course fees will be forfeited.

Nail enhancements or products will not be removed during the course.

We take all reasonable measures to gather relevant information from students regarding allergies, medical conditions, or learning difficulties. It is the student’s responsibility to disclose any conditions or challenges that may affect their learning or ability to perform or receive treatments. NTC is not responsible for any negative outcomes due to failure to disclose such information.

We will make every effort to accommodate individual needs. However, we cannot guarantee that changes to products or course structures can be made to suit all requirements. Please discuss any concerns with us prior to your course to ensure it is suitable.

Allergic reactions can occur at any time. NTC accepts no responsibility for unknown allergies that may arise during the course.

Refresher Courses

All NTC students are entitled to return for one free refresher session on any course they have previously completed. If you book a refresher session and do not attend without informing NTC in advance, you will forfeit your right to a free refresher.

Code of Conduct

To ensure a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment for all students and trainers, we ask that everyone adheres to the following Code of Conduct:

Punctuality is essential. Please check the course venue, location, and your travel route in advance to avoid being late. Late arrivals may disrupt the session, and you may be asked to reschedule. A transfer fee may apply.

Returning late from breaks will be treated the same as arriving late at the start of the course.

Breaks are scheduled according to the course structure. Extra breaks, including those for smoking or vaping, will not be permitted, as they disrupt the learning experience for you and others.

All students are required to practice treatments on one another. Refusal to participate or receive treatments may result in disqualification from that specific treatment. Refunds will not apply. (Exceptions may be made for medical reasons if discussed with us in advance.)

If you do not comply with participation requirements, trainers reserve the right to ask you to leave the course. Refunds will not be issued.

All tools and equipment provided remain the property of NTC. Removing any items from the premises will be treated as theft, and charges may be applied.

The use of mobile phones for personal calls during the course is not permitted. If you have specific responsibilities (e.g., childcare or medical concerns), please inform your trainer at the beginning of the course.

Food must not be consumed during practical sessions.

Alcohol and drug use is strictly prohibited during the course. Anyone found under the influence will be removed immediately and may be banned from returning.

While we maintain a relaxed and supportive learning environment, boundaries must be respected. Please refrain from using foul language and avoid discussions on potentially sensitive topics such as politics or religion.

Be respectful of others at all times. As a future Nail Technician, you will work with people from all walks of life. Professionalism begins with your training.

Discriminatory, racist, sexist, or offensive language or behavior will not be tolerated. Violators may receive a verbal warning or be asked to leave immediately with no right to return. No refunds will be issued.

Any form of aggression, whether direct or indirect, will result in a verbal warning and immediate removal from the course, without the option to return.

Due to the close contact nature of beauty treatments, students must maintain high personal hygiene standards. This includes fresh breath (please use mints if you smoke), deodorant, and clean hands at all times.

Data Protection

By enrolling, you consent to the use of photographs and video recordings during your course for training and promotional purposes. Please inform your trainer if you do not wish to be included.

Equality and Diversity

NTC is committed to promoting equality and diversity. We welcome students of all genders, backgrounds, and beliefs, providing a safe, inclusive learning environment free of judgment and discrimination.

Any breach of this policy or the Code of Conduct may result in removal from the course.
